The new Cavite-Manila Ferry Service is offering free rides for one month after its launch on Sunday, according to the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade made the announcement on the launch of the new ferry boat service at the Cavite City Hall.
The ferry service is expected to cut travel time from 3-4 hours on land to a range of only 15 minutes to around an hour by ferry, depending on the drop-off point.
Ferry stations in tanza and Naic is expected to start next month.
Cavite City is only 30 minutes away from Lancaster New City.
