Cavitex Infrastructure Corp., a unit of Metro Pacific Tollways Corp., plans to further extend the Manila-Cavite Expressway to Tanza, Cavite at a cost of P30 billion.
The proposed Cavitex extension to Tanza involves the construction of a 22-kilometer road that will link Kawit to Noveleta then to Sangley and Tanza. The project is expected to kick off by early 2021.
“We hope to get a resolution from the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) and then after that we will submit our proposal to the TRB, ” said Robeto Bontia, president and general manager of CIC.
About 140,000 vehicles ply the 14-kilometer Cavitex daily.
